Project Description

Perched on the banks of the wild Kwando River, overlooking the Mudumu National Park, Lagoon Camp is nestled beneath towering Ebony and Marula trees. This heavily forested sight is home to a wide variety of birds and mammals.

The camp has magnificent views and the close proximity all contribute to the pervading sense of calm at the lagoon. With its attractive riverside setting, lovely accommodation and generally excellent game viewing, the Lagoon Camp is a very popular choice for travellers with a great sense of adventure who love being in the wilderness without having to give up most creature comforts.

With its seasonally large herds of elephants who use the river near the camp as a drinking hole, while playful spotted-necked otters are commonly seen performing in the nearby waters. The best way to view all the river has to offer is to take an afternoon river cruise, hop aboard the unique double decker boats which allows guest to drift along the river while enjoying spectacular views, mammal and birdlife whilst sipping on your favourite sun downer in this perfect atmosphere.

The 8 tented chalets are equipped with en-suite bathroom and indoor and outdoor showers. On request a family unit is available.
