Project Description

The Duba Plains is a traditional tented safari camp situated in an exceptionally pretty part of the Okavango Delta. It is one of the most remote camps in the delta due to its location on a tree covered island in the Kwandi Reserve. This makes the camp the perfect place to escape reality for a while.

The friendly and confident manner of the camps staff, make the Duba Plains a truly welcoming and relaxed atmosphere for all its guests. The bird life is abundant and the game is even more exciting.

The area has been made popular due to its daytime lion and buffalo interaction. Lions are usually active at night but the area around the camp boasts a tribe of lions that are mostly active during the day. Many of their famous buffalo hunts occur in broad daylight for all to witness, hence resulting in some exceptionally dramatic viewing opportunities.

The 6 roomy tents are equipped with en-suite bathrooms and outside showers. Their verandas reveal panoramic views of the surrounding floodplain. The main area has dining and bar areas with a thatched lounge. The camps swimming pool is also built on a raised platform.
