Project Description

The exclusive Ibo Island Lodge offers a magical and atmospheric experience. Situated on a tiny island in the Quirimbas National Park in the northern part of Mozambique, it offers endless tranquil beaches for honeymooners, as well as untouched diving destinations below the surface for the underwater enthusiast.

Situated on the prime Rua Bela Vista Street which amply describes the lodge’s position, it also provides guests with views overlooking the sea and the islands impressive mangroves.

As one of the oldest and definitely most romantic settlements in Mozambique, the Ibo Island Lodge is a honeymooner’s paradise. The décor is simple yet elegant with just a dash of opulence making it the perfect beach and marine destination combined with a truly African cultural experience.

The Ibo Island Lodge has something for everyone, offering guests fascinating historical and cultural experiences coupled with lazy days on the beach or snorkelling in the sea. Stylish, informal and relaxed, Ibo Island Lodge provides all the ingredients needed for a stunning island adventure.

The rooms are all inside the adjoining carefully restored colonial mansions. Each room has an en-suite bathroom and is uniquely styled. Guests have the option between a bay or garden facing room.
