The River Club

The River Club is a boutique luxury lodge, located in Livingstone on the Zambezi River. Genuine hospitality awaits you in a peaceful location, just 18 kms/11 miles upstream from the Victoria Falls and town of Livingstone.

The lodge consists of eleven spacious suites nestled among the trees overlooking the mighty Zambezi River. There are 7 river suites, 2 luxury river suites, 1 luxury family river suite and the Princess Mary Suite. The river suites sleep 2, while the family unit sleeps 2 adults + 3 kids, and the Princess Mary Suite has room for 4 adults (2 private bedrooms) +2 kids. The luxury river suites and the family unit have private decks with plunge pools. The Princess Mary Suite is a luxurious double storey villa situated in a secluded garden with a private pool, offering an intimate experience for families or groups of friends seeking privacy and space.

In honour of the local heritage, each suite is named after individuals who have special places in the history of Zambia. All suites are river facing, and from their elevated positions, they are perfectly situated for gazing across the river to the Zambezi National Park on the opposite bank. The Park houses a rich bird- and wildlife, in an area of abundant natural beauty.

The lodge’s main area is an Edwardian house with lounge, dining room, library, shop and veranda on which breakfasts and teas are served. Midday meals are often served on the lawns, which also has a croquet court. The lodge also has an infinity pool, which blends in with the river itself, and a wellness centre offering beauty and spa treatments. For the energetic, there is also a gym, running trails and an all-weather tennis court available.

For a perfect mix of idyllic relaxation and adventure, The River Club is the ultimate destination. Both at the lodge, in the nearby Victoria Falls and in the Livingstone area there are exciting activities ranging from relaxed sunset safaris to adrenaline packed white water rafting.
