Tour to the Namib Desert, sunrise above the Sossusvlei dunes, Dead Vlei, hikes and tours

Day 4 – Day 7
Pension Rapmund, Swakopmund
Drive to coast, stop at canyons and Walvis Bay, discover the coastal city of Swakopmund, enjoy many activities on offer, e.g. boat or kayak trips, desert tours, quad biking or sand boarding (bookable at additional costs)

Day 7 – Day 9
Twyfelfontein Lodge, Damaraland
Drive to Damaraland, watch largest seal colony in Southern Africa, world heritage site Twyfelfontein with rock engravings and paintings, visit a local Damara village

Day 9 – Day 13
Etosha Safari Camp, Etosha Nationalpark
Game drives, game viewing

Day 13 – Day 14
Mokuti Etosha Lodge, Oshikoto

Return to Windhoek, hand over hired car, transfer to Windhoek Airport

Day to Day Experience
Day 1 – Day 2 | Pension Palmquell, Windhoek (ca. 45 km)
On your arrival at the Windhoek Airport you are welcomed by our partner. He drives you to Windhoek City for the takeover of your hired car. The remaining day is at your own disposal. Check in at the Lodge and relax or do a city tour and wander around Windhoek’s vibrant center.

Day 2 – Day 4 | Namib Desert Lodge, Maltahöhe District (ca. 350 km)
On day 2, you are visiting the Namib Desert. Breathtaking landscape and majestic sand dunes await you. Your accommodation is near Sesriem. Go hiking to explore the region in the afternoon or join some of the exiting activities on offer (both optional, available at additional costs).
The next day, you will have an early start to watch the sun rise above the sand dunes – a unique play of colours! Later that day, climb one of the huge red sand dunes and visit the Dead Vlei. On your way back, do a detour to the Sesriem Canyon.

Day 4 – Day 7 | Pension Rapmund, Swakopmund (ca. 330 km)
After a delicious breakfast, you will travel towards the coastline, passing the countless dunes to your left and numerous mountain chains to your right. You also traverse two canyons and you may stop at Walvis Bay to explore the busy town. Your final destination for today is the coastal city of Swakopmund.
The following two days, you can either relax in this beautiful coastal area or do some of the many activities on offer, such as boat or kayak trips, desert tours to learn more about fauna and flora, go quad biking or sand boarding and many more – we are looking forward to preparing an individual additional activities package for you!

Day 7 – Day 9 | Twyfelfontein Lodge, Damaraland (ca. 340 km)
Today you leave Swakopmund and drive to Damaraland. Stop at Cape Cross on your way to watch the largest seal colony in Southern Africa.
On day 8 you discover Twyfelfontein after a strengthening breakfast. Twyfelfontein is a world heritage site with more than 2.500 rock engravings and paintings! Don’t miss out on the stunning rock formations such as the „Orgelpfeifen” and the „Versteinerte Wald” which are close-by. Later that day, visit a local Damara village.

Day 9 – Day 13 | Etosha Safari Camp, Etosha Nationalpark (ca. 300 km)
Today you continue to another spectacular must-see in Namibia, to the Etosha National Park. This fascinating park is famed for its savannah grasslands and the huge Etosha Salt Pan.
Spend the following 3 days discovering Etosha on game drives to spot wildlife. Stop at the water holes and dams to watch the game. The Etosha National Park is home to plentiful, mainly desert-adapted wildlife such as lion, elephant, rhino, leopard and cheetah. With some luck and a little bit of patience, watch the animals in their natural habitat.

Day 13 – Day 14 | Mokuti Etosha Lodge, Oshikoto (ca. 190 km)
On day 13, enjoy some more exciting game viewing while traversing the Etosha National Park from south-west to east.

Day 14 – Day 16 | Kashana Guesthouse, Omaruru (ca. 370 km)
Today you leave the Etosha region and travel south-west to the Erongo area.
The following day you discover the small town of Omaruru, go hiking or do a nature tour – all optional, we assist in planning it according to your requests.

Day 16 | Return to Windhoek Airport (ca. 215 km)
Day 16 is the last day of your great safari adventure. Drive back to Windhoek where you hand over the hired car. Meet our partner, who will transfer you to the Windhoek Airport in time for you onward travel arrangements.
