Project Description

Situated in the UNESCO world heritage site of the Matopos Hills National Park, this highly original camp has been constructed to fit in with its surroundings instead of the other way around. Built with imagination and flair, the allure and unique beauty of the hills is celebrated throughout the camp.

Camp Amalinda offers guests great value for money accommodation coupled with a large variety of activities, making it much more than just your average safari experience. Granite domes and castle kopjes surround you, echoing the essence of tranquillity and the majesty of an untamed Africa where both mammal and bird species are on full display.

Sit on one of the camps many viewing decks and take in your prolific surroundings. With the highest concentrations of leopards and black eagles in the world as well as a healthy population of black and white rhinos who call the Matopos Hills home, you will always catch a glimpse of something exciting.
