Kaingo Camp overlooks the magnificent Luangwa River from beneath an old grove of glorious ebony trees. The camp is informal, but in a good way, welcoming with an extremely relaxed feel. The team is friendly and extremely accommodating, offering guests a flexible itinerary with your needs always a top priority.

Kaingo Camps position provides guests the chance to view an excellent array of animals, thus a dull moment is a severely rare occurrence. The camp is surrounded by a number of stunning photographic hides including the Carmine Hide. This hide is a boat moored off the Carmine Colony providing up close and personal experiences with the animals. The Hippo Hide is a two tiered construction built into the riverbank beside a deep hippo filled pool, making sure a sighting is always possible. The camps Elephant Hide is unique as it allows for sleep outs under the stars, making for a truly enchanting experience.

The area is incredibly beautiful and the varied terrain guarantees for brilliant game viewing sightings, making for a couple of very busy days ahead of you. End your day off with pre dinner drinks and snacks at one of the camps hides, before embarking on a much deserved delicious three course dinner, providing the perfect conclusion to your day.

Kaingo operates with a style of its own, making for the Kaingo experience a refreshing change from its counterparts.

The 6 brick and thatch chalets are equipped with day beds, en-suite bathrooms, an outdoor bath and a private deck. The main area offers its guests a dining room, a lounge with bar and a telescope.
