Located on the edge of an area of deep water and lagoons in the heart of the Okavango Delta, the Shinde Camp provides guests to experience numerous land and water activities. The area is famous for its lushness and first-rate game on offer. The well-established Shinde Camp in the private reserve just to the north of the Moremi Game Reserve is a perfect example of a traditional safari camp.

The wet and dry habitat that encircles the Shinde Camp ensures that a wide variety of wildlife is consistently found in the area, including regular sightings of the rarely spotted sitatunga antelope. With its basic rooms and comfortable surroundings the camps main attraction is its unique main area, which comprises of a multi-tiered dining room and lounge, set under canvas amongst the shade of ebony and mangosteen trees which all complement the camp and its environment.

The Shinde Enclave is a camp within a camp, offering its guests the ultimate in personal service and unforgettable wilderness experiences. The private dining and lounge areas provide guests with the perfect place to relax after a long day of exploration. The intimate hideaway provides numerous luxuries including a private chef, waiter and housekeeper, as well guests own personal guide and game drive vehicle.

8 twin bedded classic safari tents each with an en suite bathroom and private viewing deck at Shinde Camp. Every possible comfort has been created, from generated electricity to a handy flashlight. Each tent has been positioned to offer splendid views whether it’s across the Okavango Deltas mysterious waterways or the open grasslands that the region is famous for. Shinde Enclave has 3 luxurious tents with en-suite bathrooms built on raised teak decks. In close proximity to the private dining area and the viewing deck is an exclusive hideaway, a perfect location to those who choose to visit it.
